Acandis has announced it has established a new subsidiary headquartered in Milan, Italy.
In a press release, the company states that this marks “another important step” in the ongoing internationalisation of the Acandis Group.
Following the official founding of Acandis Italy, the company also notes that it has laid the foundation for the targeted expansion of its activities in the Italian market, further strengthening its long-term presence in Europe.
The incorporation of Acandis Italy was led and successfully implemented onsite by Michael Denzer, director of corporate development.
Acandis has also announced multiple other clinical and commercial milestones in recent weeks.
In June, the company shared that the 25th patient had been treated in the RESOLVE study, which is evaluating the safety, efficacy and clinical benefit of its Sirex stent for venous sinus stenosis associated with pulsatile tinnitus.
Additionally, earlier this month, Acandis announced the launch of the Accero Rex stent in Brazil, stating that this marks an important milestone that will enable additional treatment options for intracranial aneurysms. The company anticipates continued expansion across Latin America moving forward.
