Minimus Spine has announced that it has received a notice of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office (Application 11/527,414) for pre-sterilised vial to create ozone for medical application.
“This patent protects our initial concept for providing a pre-sterilised vial that interfaces with a console to create ozone gas, which can be used as part of a non-surgical treatment for disc herniations. The evidence supporting intradiscal ozone injection continues to mount and we believe that our approach to standardising the treatment and creating ozone in a sterile container is necessary for this technology to become more widely adopted,” said David Hooper, founder and CEO, Minimus Spine.
