ESMINT signs memorandum of understanding with German Society of Neuroradiology

In acknowledgement of their shared goals and interests, the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT) and the German Society of Neuroradiology (DGNR) announced today that they have formalised a collaboration to define joint actions, achieve the best possible outcomes, and enhance the visibility of both organisations.

A signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) commits to efficient and transparent communication between the two societies, as outlined in their agreement.

The MoU was signed by Zsolt Kulcsár (University Hospital of Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland) and Ansgar Berlis (University Hospital Augsburg, Augsburg, Germany), presidents of ESMINT and DGNR, respectively, and ESMINT treasurer Christian Taschner (University Hospital Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany).

The agreement provides DGNR members joining any category of ESMINT membership with a 20% discount, and ensures mutual access to each other’s membership and scientific platforms, according to a press release put out by ESMINT. The release also states that ESMINT is committed to collaborating formally and informally with all European national neurointerventional societies, and its ultimate goal is to enhance patient treatment across the continent.
