The European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the French Society of Neuroradiology (SFNR) in an effort to acknowledge their shared goals and interests.

The two societies have established a formal collaboration to benefit their members and enable the provision of the highest standards of patient care, as per a press release.

ESMINT and SFNR formalised their collaboration to define joint actions, achieve the best possible outcomes, and enhance the visibility of both organisations. As outlined in the agreement, the signed MOU commits to efficient and transparent communication between the two societies.

The MOU was signed by ESMINT president Zsolt Kulcsár (University Hospital of Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland) and SFNR president Hubert Desal (University Hospital of Nantes, Nantes, France), and ESMINT treasurer Christian Taschner (University Hospital Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany).

The agreement provides SFNR members joining any category of ESMINT membership a 20% discount, and ensures mutual access to each other’s membership and scientific platforms.
